Influence on World Literature

Isabel Allende is one of the most well known Latin American writers of her time. She has been able to travel all over the world with her magnificent novels such as The House of the Spirits, Stories of Eva Luna, Of Love and Shadows, and The Infinitive plan, all of these novels and the rest of her novels have been translated in more than 26 languages, and she has received prices and every type of acclaim all over the world.

History and culture have influenced the way in which she writes about her experiences. Like her best selling novel The House of the Spirits, which started as a letter to her grandfather, but she ended up writing her novel The House of The Spirits.

Moreover, Allende always makes us believe that even the most bizarre accident and crossing of paths might really be possible. And her readers have grown contented with the existence of ghostly beings. She has the wonderful gift of creating the magnificent world that is breath taking only with words and phrases that make the novel a complete piece of art. Additionally, her marvelous application of literary devices such as illusions and similes in all of her novels truly set a stand of how her novels are and what they represent.

   Furthermore, Allende has had a enormous impact on the world of literature, not only has she received awards because of her wonderful novels, but she has also received awards for her community work and her benevolence towards the world in general. So, her works and novels have caused a huge impact on the world of literature and so has her benevolence; it truthfully represents who she is and, in a way, she relates that to her writings.  

Thus, Allende’s influence on the world literature has been magnificently big. She has been able to publish books all around the world and have them translated into more than 26 languages, and not only that but her achievements as a writer and as a person have also made her what she is now, one of the best Latin American Writers of this time.
